i can't think of a clever title.

heyyyy, lovies!

first off, thank you so much to everyone who wished me luck for the phone interview i had this morning... i appreciate all of your thoughts & prayers!
i think it went well... i pulled out the big guns for this one {even though it was a phone interview}- i showered, got fancy... even wore heels and sat at my at-home desk with a mirror in front of me so i could make sure i smiled... because smiles can be heard over the phone, my friends.
it can't hurt, right? i am soooo ready to get myself a REAL big girl job.
i am trying out a new local coffee shop today... their mocha is better than starbucks... but it is a little crowded, so i resorted to sharing a three-seater couch with a girl doing her bible study... i don't think she was crazy about me invading her space. {to my credit, i did try to scrunch all the way to my side and there are two pillows between us}. guess she will not be my new best friend. better luck next time.
the barista is wearing a tuxedo apron and sweet talking a customer's baby. the guys beside me are talking blogs. the music selections are good {it is taking ALL of my self control to NOT bust out singing along to 'mr jones' by counting crows}. there's lots of students studying...
{thank you JESUS those days are over}

now that i have painted the scenery for you, it's time for some sometimes and always {linking up with the lovely megan}

sometimes: i write a list of a million things i want to get done each day.
always: i finish about 1/3 of the things on the list, consider it a success, and put the rest on tomorrow's list.

sometimes: i contemplate taking a nap in the afternoons
always: i wait too long and then end up foregoing the nap because i don't want it to mess up my sleep that night.

sometimes: i think i'll cook myself something for dinner when the hubs has to work late.
always: i end up eating a pb+banana+honey sandwich or a bowl of cereal

sometimes: i want to try a new bottle of wine...
always: i browse the aisles and get so overwhelmed with choices that i end up taking home 2-3 bottles because i can't pick one {which of course, are chosen by their fun labels/the shape of their bottles}

peace out, homies.

  2. I always choose wine with fun labels too ;) and that girl can get over having to share a couch... the 2 pillow boundary is sufficient! haha!

  6. I am incredibly indecisive too! I either buy too much or nothing because I can't make up my mind.

  7. I am so the same with wine, hence why I bought 4 bottles when I went to pick up just one! :)

  8. I know you did great! I can't wait to hear about it and I am thinking about you and your job search everyday sweet friend! Its ok that you don't get your whole list done...I barely get anything on mine done so you can imagine what it looks like!

  9. I totally buy bottles based on the cute or pretty labels! I hope the interview went well-- I'm impressed you got all fancy for it ;) I'd have been in sweats!

  10. I'm so glad the phone interview went well and I think dressing up was a great idea. I knew a guy in school who used to wear a suit to finals. 'look sharp, think sharp, perform sharp' was his motto. I agree about the naps. They are glorious but mess with the nighttime sleeping.

  11. The last 3 are totally me! Although when it comes to naps, I typically always choose the nap no matter the time. However, I did learn recently that if you want to nap, make sure it's before 3pm. If it is afterwards, it'll totally mess up your sleep schedule. I have been known to take a nap at 6pm though. ;)
